VALONI is based on in-depth review of the manufacturer’s own conformity assessment and key aspects of the product and its technical documentation. With the external evaluation, you can identify potential blind spots, reduce risks, and establish a strong foundation for compliance.

How it works

1. Submit your application and documentation

Start by exploring the evaluation criteria and required documentation, then submit an application to Complite.
After the application is approved, we will contact you and provide instructions regarding the additional documentation and information required for the assessment.
2. Assessment by Complite

We perform a thorough review based on your documentation.
During the assessment, we may request additional information and, in certain cases, conduct an inspection of the physical product or the applicant’s facilities.
3. Review and approval

After the assessment, we provide VALONI report covering all reviewed areas and related documentation.
If the product meets VALONI criteria, it is awarded the VALONI mark. If criteria are not fully met, the report includes corrective actions.
The applicant can choose to implement these actions and request a re-assessment to obtain the right to use the VALONI mark
4. Right to use the VALONI mark

Once all criteria are met, the product is granted the right to use the VALONI mark. This includes:
- permission to use VALONI mark on product and in marketing
- support for communicating the purpose and value of the mark
- assistance with compliance-related inquiries about the product
- updates on product-related regulatory changes

Made for range of luminaires

VALONI is applicable to a wide range of luminaires, from professional to domestic use, that require CE marking under EU harmonization legislation. Eligible luminaires must have completed the manufacturer’s conformity assessment process and display the CE mark.
